Hi all,

This might be a silly post, but please help me id a coral that I have seen but can't really find any info on it.

The coral looks like an open brain, it looks like the number 8 (if you can imagine it), it is pink in colour inside and outside rims. My first guess was a pink open brain, HOWEVER, when I got closer to it, and touched it, it had no flesh at all. It was a stoney coral!

Any idea what that is? if you can direct me towards some pictures to id, that would be great.
