given you use a friendly client, you can tell it what files from the torrent you want to download, incase you only want one or two files.
I found bittorrent rough until I figured out how to use it to most of it's potential.
I find with kazaalite, etc. you get a lot of bogus files that aren't even 192kbps 90% of the time..
