Ya, that is true - you would have to stop your filtration for the switch, there is mailing costs, and no opportunity to look it over first.
On the other hand - I still have the 2222 running, so my system will be fine. If you wanted, I can mail you the bottom half of the 2128 (which has the heating element, probe, and thermo controler). Once you get it, if you like it, you can swap it with the bottom of your cannister filter and mail that one to me. If you don't like it, you could always send it back too. If we kept our own motors and media baskets it would probably keep shipping pretty cheap. Obviously, one in Calgary would work best for me but it is something to consider...
