Halimeda (the hard green one) is a good nutrient exporter for in the tank but it can grow fast & remove alot of calcium that your hard corals need.

The red grape is harmless & I would keep it. In fact, if you don't want it, I'll buy it from you.

Stay away from growing green grape caulerpa in the main tank. They can take over your tank real fast & overgrow the corals.

Any caulerpa needs to be harvested regularly if you grow it in your main tank or you risk it going sexual.

I grow prolifera, chaeto & red halimenia mostly. Looking for some of that red grape you have.
