is there any benifit to having a tank drilled in the bottom so that it can be flush with the wall behind it? (as opposed to drilled in the back)
has anyone put their tank flush with the wall only to regret it later?
I'm deciding whether or not to drill my tank at the back on the bottom. the only benifit to drilling the back is I can have shorter overflow boxes in the corner of my tank, rather than a whole corner dedicated to an overflow. I plan on using dursos.
if i drill the back I plan on doing the durso
similar to that. but just thru the tank glass, not in an overflow
to explain the situation, I'm going to have my tank in one room, and drill holes in the wall behind it and have all the equiptment behind the wall.. just wondering if leaving space between the wall and the tank has a purpose, otherwise I'll put the tank right up against the wall..
thanks.
