Might be. A position opened up at Fleet Maintenance Facility to work on HMCS Victoria.
I've applied but I have the distinct feeling that the advertisement is just a formaility as they have "designed" the position for someone who is already there working but they have to advertise it so as to meet the legal requirements. A typical government/military hiring.
I am over qualified in many respects as far as education and training go but one job requirement is three years experience with the class of sub. And unless you are someone retiring who worked on them in England that isn't going to happen.
Like I said. Typical govt/military hiring practices. Create your own position just before you retire, advertise it and hire yourself.
