White grease paint is common on clowns.
Sorry I couldn't resist, but seriously I would suspect its a form of fungus on them. Did you quarentine these fish before tank introduction? Fresh introduction from the LFS could possibly infect the whole tank. I would suggest removal if possible into a hospital tank and get photo's for a possible treatment suggestion. Also, feeding on introduction day is not usually recommended from all my readings.
