Cold water snails will not stay alive long in a reef tank. They'll just die hidden in your rockwork and cause you ammonia spikes.(and great headaches) It's like putting those baby crabs you find at the beach under the rocks in your tank. They won't live long. Their metabolisms are not geared for warm waters.
