There are a few other places in the lower mainland to check out for livestock. Animal House in Chilliwack is a nice store with a knowledgeable staff. Perky's Pets in New Westminster has a really beautiful display and can have some interesting livestock. Big Al's seems to be hit and miss with an emphasis on the miss [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] . I think you are very lucky to have found J&L's right off the bat. They are setting the standard for pricing and quality of livestock and drygoods.
There are some other great sources of information out there on the WWW .
www.thereeftank.com www.reefs.org and
www.reefcentral.com are among the best. Just wade through the bs and there are many experienced reefers ready to help out.
