Im not sure what you mean by flow pump...if that is a higher volume and a less head capacity then yes it is.

But the 4md`s are pressure pumps made for a higher volume at a higher head.

none of them are fan cooled,i have an older 4md aswell that is fan cooled,and it is very noisey,these are much quiter that that one by far.
