So, a pretty major thing happened.
After hearing that Australian Stripey's can do wonders on Aiptasia I decided to give one a go. Now they are not completely reef safe, as they will eat some LPS (of which I have limited amounts) but I can report that within 5 weeks he
has decimated the visible Aiptasia in the display. He has showed no interest towards the hammers, cyphastria, or favias. He was accepted immediately by the tangs, and is not agressive to any of the other fish. I have also since returned the Filefish to the display.
Still planning a lighting upgrade and getting PO4 dialed in. Also dealing with cyano and some algae.
