Regarding Reef Wholesale, yes Ecotech has now advised me to try contacting them. I did reach out to them previously and it seemed I was going to have success with them, however in the end they said it was out of their jurisdiction for whatever reason. I did shoot them a message again to follow up since I was now directed to them.
You may be right about the problem of parts in Canada. It would appear that if I were in the states I would've gotten the parts in a matter of days!
