I bought the ATO used. It works fine as long as I don't flood the return section when I turn off my return pump. If I don't clean the optical sensor after it has been submerged, it will overfill to the float sensor and go into alarm. I find the pump noisy but it works and it's been like that since I bought it.
Another thing about this ATO is it will run for 15 seconds when it's powered on. Apparently this is normal. My return section is small so it will almost overfill every time I turn it off/on, unless I wait until the water level is very low before I turn it back on.
The pump hose is missing. I don't know if it's operating 100% so it's priced accordingly sold as is.
