Vertex Alpha 250 skimmer for sale. The Red Dragon pump had died on this skimmer so I replaced it with a Reef Octopus DC-5500S controllable DC pump. At the time, I would have had to wait 2-3 months for a replacement Red Dragon to come from Germany and the Reef Octopus pump had very similar stats with the added bonus of being controllable. I only used the new pump on this skimmer for 2 months prior to shutting down my 225 gallon system.
