That is really bizarre, and theoretically nearly impossible.
Some jellies can reproduce asexually (like fragging), though I don't know if Upside Downs do, and the polyp shown would have to be the product of sexual reproduction. Got pics? I'd love to see how they matured! Did you find anyone else documenting this too?
