Hook some flex tube from one of your powerheads...

Hook some flex tube from one of your powerheads to the uv sterilizer and return it as an outlet into the tank on the other end of your tank.

You shouldn't need a canister filter and no worries...

$100. Made by some old commercial company. It works as an airstone skimmer, can be easily converted to a beckett skimmer. I have a 51" beckett skimmer that is a similar design.

I used UPS last week and the shipping was $14, and the brokerage and other fees and gst came to $40. So I paid $54 extra on $150 worth of stuff. Kind of ridiculous for a gate valve and some seals....

I wouldn't be concerned about a ph of 7.9. I have a friend that has run a very successful reef tank for 6-7 years straight and his ph is constantly at 7.9. And yes he does calibrate his ph monitor...

Definitely basement....we had a moisture issue and heat issue and everything got alleviated. I run over a just about a 1000 watts of lighing on my 46 gallon and I have over 200 gallons water...
