Not sure about the epoxy but you can get big tubes of Aquarium safe silicone at Home Depot (GE Silicone I IIRC) or pay twice as much and get the big tubes of "All Glass" brand aquarium silicone at...

They don't affect Montipora sp. of corals. Only Acropora corals so since you don't have any Acros, you shouldn't have anything to worry about Murray.

It could be a number of things. Not enough flow to flush away debris, chemical warfare in the tank, physical warefare and encroachment of other corals, etc etc.

Do a water change, run some carbon...

Doesn't an Ozone smell usually indicate a short or a spark arcing somewhere thus creating ozone?

You could always vent the ozone into your skimmer and have a ballast/ozone generator :razz:
