Dont let the rock dry out at all, rinse both rock & sand before you put it back into the new tank. Do a water change on the old system & save the old water for the new system to start.

Increasing the size or adding more lines connecting the 2 containers is really the only answer here. Drains need to have room to flow...

Problem I see with this tool is its more like a jig saw or scroll saw compared to a bandsaw. Blades on these would be weaker then a traditional bandsaw.

For PVC & wood I prefer my 10" dual...
