first how many inches is it siting in water secondly there is a tube that says open and closed start the break in period with it open. once it breaks in you will be able to adjust not flow as much...

If you look at my return line on my 50g build you will see near the overflow a black capped on a t. It has 2 lines on it that I hookbairline hose to and feed to the over flow when pump turns off air...

yes you are correct. i had a odysea 48" 4 bulb for my 90 it worked ok but upgraded to a 6 bulb catalina i think and i am much happier. i just figured i would try the mh fixture rather than the t5's...
