As far as i have read, what makes skimming work...
As far as i have read, what makes skimming work are the properties of salt water (specific gravity, surface tension etc.) . If you have one laying around it would be neat to find out for sure though!

short skimmer for a 65 gallon tank.
Hey all.
got a short stand, about 24 inches clearance inside, are there any brands/models of skimmers that will fit in there and also do the job for a 65 gallon tank?

i think if you keep the strips narrow enough and find a good way to keep the pieces upright in the tank it should work well. if you are seriosly considering...
