I thought that there were differneces between the anal fins on each fish and that H.acuminatus has a more rounded chest. I do have a reef tank so I don't want H.acuminatus and want to make sure that...

are you planning on keeping clams? I know that bicolor blennies will nip at clams, not sure about the midas blenny but he might also nip at clams. Something to look into.

The tank is a custom 15 gallon, I don't need that much light over the tank since I have seahorses in there. The light will be a good distance from the surface and hanging. I don't want to go PC...

the bulbs for both of those fixtures are really expensive. Maybe go with something like the Nova Extreme 18 inch T5. it is a 40watt fixture.
