yes, seating the bulb in a bit further did the trick. I guess it had partial contact which enabled it to turn on sometimes. Thanks for the help.

Hi, folks:
I just purchased a 250 Pendant and when I plug it in it turns on sometimes, but not others. I am sure I have the wiring right and the connections are solid. Is there a break-in period...

Have you tried the manufacturer? It strikes me that would be the most likely possibility of finding one, unless they plan on charging an arm and a leg!
