That's what he's doing. He's "cooking" his rock (i.e. extended curing in darkness over several months). He's not literally cooking his rocks...at least I don't think that is what he implies :eek:

Chromis are nice, but I've never seen them school unless there was a much bigger fish in the tank with them to induce this behavior. If there aren't really any big fish, they just seem to swim...

The pendants are sitting on aluminum angles that I picked up at Home Depot. Small pieces are cut and screwed into the canopy and the long pieces just sit on top to the pieces screwed into the canopy.
