As long as both tubes are T-12 the VHO will fit NO. T-8's are the smaller diameter tubes you can get. ie the Hagen power glo's etc.

All that needs ot be done is cut the slots in the top of a flat sheet that is 11wide by 17high then bend it in the center. That enough?

All fittings "put together" and in the tank. So that woud lbe able to use the large tubing and such wiht a smaller overflow box I wanted, I have not glued the top "T" fiting to the standpipe....

Here is the lower fitting that goes into the bulkhead in the bottom of the tank. As well the top cap which will have a small air valve mounted in it to conto the water level in the standpipe.

As it was going to be much to large I have decided to go with 1 1/2" PVC fittings and tubing. To make for even more space saved I have trimmed off part of the 90 and the T fittings to make it even...

I ended up using 1 1/2. the 2" would have been waaay to big to fit. Sigh.. lol
