Why would you want to diffuse the light going into your tank? Any of it. Whether it is NO, VHO, PC or MH??? What are you worried about by having those areas of high...

It is a Lux meter. Have to make a bracket to ensure identical distances for readings when I start testing.

The hole is centered 3 3/4" from the edges. The overflow box will be 5 1/2" by 5 1/2".
