As for the question.. up here in the NW, I'm only running RO, and as of today, I am getting 130 IN... 0 OUT... that's on a 7-8month old membrane.

To me the pro's outweigh the cons... top down viewing would be awesome as long as you got a decent Coral Viewer box. You already mentioned your macro is growing too slow to really matter.
