You could always just skip the TTM and do a normal, QT procedure. Removing variable stressors (like moving a fish every couple days) is important when QT'ing fish.

Just start the tank BB for the first 2 months. Add a thin layer of sand afterwards. This is my standard startup routine for service accounts and installations. Works great.

CONTEXTUALLY - the assumption I made was that OP wanted to keep rock "live".
