The lights are suprisingly cool, well not cool but not hot. It only raises the temp about 2 degrees. I guess ill get one more 300 watt heater and see how that goes. that will be a total of 850 watts....

You pretty much cant keep any SPS corals or anemones, well maybe a bta. And depending how deep your tank is most hard corals will need to be placed closer to the top.

Yes a refugium would help a lot. Thats what most people do have a seperate tank or section in the sump dedicated to macro algeas which will take out the nutrents. Are you using RO-DI water if not...
