Isn't that a float "valve" no electricity, reliable prolly the safest way to go....humidifer float or kent.. :razz:
Float switches are electric and can fail, on or off as well as the pump they...

Please check on the "look" of your corals before doing radical pH compensation. If they look "happy" don't do anything drastic...my vote is bum pH reading, assuming this is a sudden event.

I have gotten even a six lined wrasse to eat nori by dipping it in a little garlic extract (garlic extreme..thanks Deb) solution....and my tangs go crazy, might be worth a try.
