gravel cleaning?
-did u try siphoning out some of the detritus on ur sand bed or detritus and waste under live rock crevices? fish tend 2 spill uneaten food,spill it,drop it, and disturb it all the time.

i donno about puffers but I know that boxfish are quite poisonous for inhabitants and owners alike when stressed or when they die, so jsut take that into consideration.

-I'm pretty sure a 46-gallon is 2 small, same as my idea of puttin' a bluechin triggerfish in my 33-gallon, but hey u can always try!
-Mind u nasos are the opposite of bluechin...
