Correct, HID is High Intensity Discharge = MH. Its the term used for MH HPS Mercury Vapor lamps. And that fixture that Mr. Alberta has (had) for sale is really nice and a good price for what it is.

Its hard to tell how much LR weighs. You can get some really dense rock that weighs a lot and you can get some porous rock that doesn't weigh that much. My guess would be about 30-40lbs in there...
