im guessing a possible disolved oxygen issue but just a guess, i would think if it was polluted by someone either by accident or on purpose it would have to be alot of something to mess up a tank...

cardinals never eat pellets or flake that ive seen, i weened mine onto frozen baby brine which they would eat almost from day 1 then regular frozen brine and then misis.

try puting a bioball on the intake of the pump...

try puting a bioball on the intake of the pump changes the way the skimmer works quite a bit, might not help but try it if you have some bioballs around

i would assume it could be killing things either from the high calcium or the effects the high calcium are having on other factors. since its only a 29g tank i would start doin 5g changes every day...

id check to make shure a fresh batch of saltwater dosnt have a crazy number also just incase its a bad batch of salt or something and if its normal start doin waterchanges.

its a 36" light but the ends extend to it will fit a larger tank or you can hang it, its not a retrofit just a regular fixture, 1 white...
