Yep, they're best kept singly unless they're a perfect match.. I bought 3 initially, 1 died within 24 hrs, the second one disappeared within 1 wk, no stands the lone soul who's out and about...

Question about juvenile mimic tangs..

So if it's yellow it's the Acanthurus pyroferus and it's presumably a mimic of of the Lemonpeel or Herald's Angel and it becomes a nice chocolate colored...

I've been to Pet Gallery... nice employees... not sure how much the know about saltwater livestock and true some of the fish are quite cheaply priced (damsels), but others aren't that competitively...
