I would try Red Coral they have high density phyto and they sell tigger pods if you want to start a colony for your mandarin. I put a tigger bottle about once every 1-2 months to keep my mandarin...

Lf Egg crate to build small frag rack

I was doing the same thing with Tigger pods and saw the same thing as you, until one night the lights went out and a huge swarm emerged from the rocks! There was probably 50-100 of them in my little...
