I've been hearing the familliar clicking as of late in my tank... couldn't find the little mantis I knew was in there.... tonight I was changing my filterbag removing the requite snail that manages...

making a reactor wasn't too much work I used a...
making a reactor wasn't too much work I used a phosban reactor style with a second chanmber for carbon... one thing that you need to consider is that you must use cell cast acrylic as extruded...

ORP and Ozone
For all thosse who are running O3 on their tanks what ORP value do you shoot for?
I have read that natural sea water has an ORP value of 350-450... I have not started running O3 into my tank yet as...

less break in time
To cut down on the time it takes to break it in as well as get all the oils etc out of the skimmer body/pump fill your bath tub or rubermaid tub with warm fresh water and let it run in ther for 12-24...

Get rid of the hydroids as soon as you can they...
Get rid of the hydroids as soon as you can they will take over... I think many of us have had huge problems with these I know at least sumpfinfishe and I have torn down our entire tanks in an attempt...

I agree with Chin... a healthy fish will never get sucked into a powerhead...OA has captive bread clowns... in fact I believe that most of the clownfish we see in stores are captive bread as they are...
