ive always read that the issue with cement rocks...

ive always read that the issue with cement rocks was thay affect ph quite a bit for the first few months i think garf.org has a bunch of info also i think talkingreef.com did a show or 2 about it.

i think people only use the portland cement cant...

i think people only use the portland cement cant remember which one but it needs to cure a long time before using it which makes it not really worth it to me unless you want a specific shape or cave...

too much hastle if you ask me, i have a 8'x30"x24" and is was a beast to move 30 feet from the door to the stand, i wouldn't even try that tank on a upper floor of a house without some major upgrades...

cant remember his name but the guy who builds tanks for golds. i wanted polished edges and a black overflow but things never seem to turnout exactly how they should for some reason

saw some of thier sumps and skimmers at macna and it was nice stuff, who knows about shipping but the prices seem good.

i would put a k8 on each end,
i have 2 vortech's on a 4' tank you would need 2 minimum for a 8' tank or the far end would have almost nothing, i would skip the controller and buy 2 k8s

i have 3 groupers and a snapper and dump about 10-15 shrimp and 10-15 smelt in the tank per week and thats if i only feed them twice i usally feed 3 times a week. speckeled grouper is about 20-22"...

i bought 2 a while ago and had problems with them...

i bought 2 a while ago and had problems with them all the time but when i got the new gen2 wet sides on warranty they have worked perfectly since then and will be buying more for other tanks also

i have a big one my clown host in it but it took the about 3-4 years before they did,i think i was switching tanks when they figured it out. as far as taking over the tank mine hasnt split in 5 years...
