As others have already said, make sure you have a stable tank first.

What kind of clownfish is it? If you get a natural host, the clownfish is much more likely to go into the anemone.

I wonder if there is where your clam problems come from Grizz? I have read quite a few threads on reefcentral about people's lawnmower's eating their clam's. That is what kept me from getting one.

RSM250 is a nice starter tank. Now you just need to buy a 2nd larger tank and use your RSM250 as a specialty tank for something like haddoni carpets and clowns that won't work in a reef setup....
