It only needs to be large enough to comfortably assemble your bulkheads and fittings. Mine uses 1" Bean Animal style drains and is 5" x 5" OD. Coast to coast is well worth it IMO as is the Bean...

Thanks and yes I am, just put 10 or 15 lbs of rubble I had around and 25 lbs of fresh premium rock in the refugium just now. I will move it up once I trust it:)

Everything is now wet, 3 days to fill. SG is bang on 1.026 (almost a full large pail of salinity!). 260 lbs of sand is in and settling as is the 150 lbs of Marco rock. All pumps and skimmer are on....
