. Well I disagree mindy I have been using mag pumps since 2002 and not once did I have a problem. I guess I got a crappy pump. And they do have a great track record actually inline they recommend...

Mindy, I think IMO that people using longer tanks use them. But for a 48 long I dont think you would need them. why not just down grade your plumbing return line. if its 1" have it coming out as 1/2"...
