any idea on how to tell if the turbos i bought...
any idea on how to tell if the turbos i bought are mexican? The only place that had turbos in at the time was a LFS in my town...and they didn't even know "mexican" turbo snails existed...they though...

Chaeto growth
My cheato does not seem to want to grow. I've had it for about 3 weeks and no signs of growth. I have it under a 60watt grow light (home depot special) 24x7. I've now changed to alternating light...

Red Turf Algae help
Does anyone have any idea on how to get rid of this stuff. It started off in a small patch and has now moved around the tank.

I think I may have found the problem. I thought there was no water level adjustment on the exhaust pipe...guess it was just really stuck! finally got it raised...now it's looking a better, i'm going...

Mine doesn't seem to be pulling much...if any, skim. I got it with the tank and it may be on its last leg.

Move was not that bad at all...just a little...
Move was not that bad at all...just a little stressful! I took as much of her old water as I could and tried to have as much as possible in styrofoam coolers instead of rubbermaid containers....
