Based on observing my Chalices I'd say it is probably happy and healthy. Mine expand and deflate on a regular basis but just like other LPS seem to be inflated and puffy when they are content.

Thanks for the help. I kinda figured that might be the case. Maybe in 5 or 10 years when when my tiny frag turns into a colony I'll place two at different light levels.
