I wasn't judging your statement, just wondered how you determined which was accurate. It certainly sounds like the Salifert is more precise. Precision usually indicates accuracy in my experience.

Wow. I guess you have to have your tank configured way different then mine to use something like that. I've got about 1/2" of gap between the top of my water line & the eurobracing on my tank.

Yeah, I really like ricordia/yuma. The clams seem ok. Even in my other tank that has sand I put a piece of rock under the clam to attach to and these clams are on rocks so i don't think they notice...
