What about both, I use both in my tank and althoughsmall compared to what you are looking at doing it woudl certainly give you plenty of flow, something my tanks definitely has.

Well it has been a little while and things have changed quite a bit now, my skimmer collection vessel that theoretically should prevent overflows did not quite do the job, something happened...
