Aquarium stand preference

What's your preference when it comes to stands and canopies, do you prefer painted or real wood finish? I have seen some fine examples of both and can't decide which to choose.

Here is a full shot of my new tank. It's a 65 gallon with 118 gallon sump. I took all the stuff out of my 33 so I still have a lot of space to fill. Sorry it's cloudy it was just set up today....
