My firefish is fine, he swims around all the time. ALthough he kinda has a clownfish phobia becasue he was abused by a pair of juvenile Clarkii's for a while (nasty little fish).

Actually I got the red algae from the guy who I got the rock from. Kelly didnt have any. Unfortunately there are at least 3 of those anemones and 2 or 3 other anemones that i think are rock anemones...

Thats kinda what I thought it was but I also thought that it might be a rock anemone becasue this guy had a few of those in his tank. They were kinda cool they had nice patterns on them.

I got some new live rock for my tank yesterday!! I alreday had about 55lbs in there but got 50lbs more. I will be selling 25lbs of it to a local reefer.

thanks for the info , Nitrate is 0 and amonia is .1 I will wait till it goes to zero.I expected that the fan worms, little shrimp, sponges, and little snails would all die during the cycle.

When setting up the tank (90gal+30gal sump) I added some water from my little tank,40 lbs of live rock from a fellow canreefer, it had been sitting in circulated heated salt water,and 15 lbs of rock...

Can anyone tell me what this is?

A supposibly empty snail shell has long stringy white things coming out of it. They stretch themselves out to 6+ inches and retract when I shine the light on them.

I found two more today and put them in a baby guppy holder but one of them escaped and my firefish ate it! :( I think (if these guys arent jellyfish) if the one I have in the holder ever stops...

I just found a little tiny ( like the size of 4 or 5 grains of sand) jellyfish in my tank I took him out with a pipette and he is living in a cup right now. Are these bad? what should I do with him?
