Help me identify this piece
Looks like a Lemnalia (lemnalia sp.) to me. However, I do agree, it will be difficult to identify until the polyps are extended.

New fish not eating!
Is the other clown picking on him? Do you have an anemone? Sometimes the natural instict to feed the anemone will prevail and the fish will start eating.
I also agree with the flake food. Percs...

Anyone know what this guy is?
That's pretty brave feeding it with your bare hands. They don't call them thumb splitters for no reason.
Nice shrimp.

Plumbing shots.
What size pump are you running on this system? GPH? Those pipes look like they can handle some volume.

my new clam
Looks like a t. maxima. The teeth on the side of the clam are larger than a crocea. Also, you ususally do not see croceas with the raised bumps along the mantle.
duss
Really nice clam.

Canadians killed in Kandahar
Well, from one Yank, most of the people here are just as sickened by this incident as the post here. Anytime anyone looses his or her live due to a senseless mistake, it is difficult to accept.

Where do you put your grounding probe?
Most locate the grounding probe in the sump. It is out of the way from sight and normally where the pumps are located. It should provide ample grounding effect there.

Heads up on some nice coral
Sam,
Move the fox lower in the tank, you should see more of the green then. They will get really big under the lights but in my experience they would rather be lower in the tank away for intense...

clowdy water
You could also add some carbon in the sump for a couple of days and see if there is something in the water. This would pull some of it out.
I do agree with the previous post about the sand. Any...

I'm not sure how far your move is but one of my recommendations is to keep the old water areated while you are in the move process. DO NOT areate any of the other items other than maybe a heater with...

Working a little hard these days, huh? There has not been anything posted since 1/14/02 so if you change the view to 100 days you will see some things.

always quarantine??
One other thing, it is easier to deal with a loss of a $50.00 fish rather than the $700.00 of fish in your tank.

Ah, the topic of the day. I would ALWAYS suggest to quarantine a fish regardless of where you get them from. The stress of catching a fish and relocating is enough to stress them out and they can...

Iwaki MD-55. Gives good flow rates and can also be used to run a...
