Highly scientific.

Bleach is bleach. Too much won't hurt (other than a waste of bleach). Too little may not clean as well.

If you need to remove a lot of water to move it, keep it in clean buckets, then put it back in the tank once moved. Like mentioned above, don't do a 100% water change. You'll **** everything off.

Update: I sucked it up with the siphon when doing a water change yesterday. I had to pry it off the rocks but all is well. It didn't appear to have popped at all.
