I will be using a mag5 and feeding the skimmer with a 1/2" line.
Was it 1" on the output you suggested. I can't recall. :confused:

I would caution you against adding a mandarin as...

I would caution you against adding a mandarin as they consume the same food source. I have heard of some peoples mandarins getting a real shellacking. Although there is exceptions to every rule.
