lol i bet thats alot of silicone. but its ok called her and she "borrowed" two utility knives with handles so im all good :) just have to get it done tongiht she she can return the "borrowed knives"...

resealing a tank
so if i cut out the old seams and prep it do i have to reseal it tonight or can it wait a day or two till i get silicone. im just bored and wanted to work on my tank but if i have to wait well...

sry for hyjacking your thread but if i reseal a tank should i redo the seam around my overflow or will cutting it off (silicone)at the overflow be safe for the bottom back seal or do i need to remove...

with all the tanks that i had with a plastic...
with all the tanks that i had with a plastic trim and brace, when i cut the brace my tank bowed. i always had a glass brace installed, IMO they wouldent waste plastic on a brace if it dident need it.

Salt
im setting up a tank soon so i can start getting my rocks cycled again and i have an OLD bag of salt that has clumped up into balls ... is it still useable for cycleing rocks or do i need new salt?...
