I haven't looked for the acrylic yet but will be stopping at Sabic next time I go to Calgary. I am going to use 1/8" or thinner & will be held in place on all 4 sides by the frame of the heat sink.

I think Titus has a good idea here but might need a tweak or 2 like adding the user name of the person who added / subtracted from your rep but there might have to be a dispute panel added as well...

I actuall have a really nice piece of Colt coral that was one of my first additions into my 65gal. Got it from The Reef Shoppee & it was only about 2" tall, now it is almost 9" tall & really fuzzy...

There is no way that these will warp, as soft as aluminum is it will actually take a little more heat to warp . Total watts of the LED would be 408w @ 100% which I doubt I will even get close to...
